Drying laundry....

I love hanging laundry out to dry in the sunshine, on the line, wind drying all the towels and sheets.....but usually i would resort to the dryer in the winter months.
Terry is far more ecologically minded that i was, and many years ago he strung a rope around the perimeter of the living room. Now that i've been here almost 2 years, i am adjusting to this strange ritual of having towels, sheets, underwear etc hanging from the living room ceiling! I have to admit that i do still put some of my own cloths into the dryer....that takes care of the creases cos i'm not a person that irons cloths!!!

So here is our drying line in the living room......it was either this or a close up of zoe or sherlock, lying by the fire!

Today it hit the lowest yet this winter.... -19 ...... and pretty windy. so altho i was tempted to try and capture the beautiful lines created by the drifting snow, it was just way too cold for my liking! So an indoor blip is all i've got!!!

now off to make dinner... pork chops, mashed potatoes with garlic...and maybe carrots - haven't decided yet!
