Window 1

This is what I see out my window. I find this to be rather sad. It's an oddly warm day, and I could be drawing or painting outside, windows open, bike riding...but the warmth is lost because of the rain. This weather is going to fall into freezing in the next few days and become quite unpleasant.

While I was coming home from the studio tonight I chose to walk in the rain, rather than cut through buildings. It was quite beautiful. The warm lights against the deep sky and the rhythm of the rain was refreshing. Sometimes its these moments I fail to see, fail to feel the beauty in them. But when I do, like today, it is the greatest feeling. Simple, but alive.
