Gorge

Today we drove along and then across the waimak river before ending up at the Ashley gorge.

I had hoped to do some fishing but the river was full of kids enjoying the end of their summer holidays. They looked like they were having a great time. It was worth the trip to the top of the gorge as the views were stunning. See another view here.
