Deep Pockets at Dockett Eddy

The first boat examination of the day was at Dockett Eddy, not a 1950's pop singer or arcane riding manoeuvre, but a grand apartment building on the Thames near Chertsey.

I've decided on this image even though I'm taking a camera to a Burns Supper this evening, as it is something that is seldom seen (unless you are very well heeled)

Engine compartment of a 30 foot Regal, two 5.7 litre Mercruiser petrol engines, each with 260 HP and burning around 10 gallons per hour - at today's UK pump prices that's around £115 an hour to take this boat for a spin !
