You WILL go to the Burns Supper!

Couldn't resist these little pumps when I saw them in Brazil and they're going to be christened on Saturday when we go to a Burns Supper here in Barcelona. so Brazil, Barcelona, Burns! Bb will be addressing the haggis and I'll be giving the Reply on Behalf of the Lassies. We've hosted quite a few private dinners over the years and also organised much bigger ones for St Andrew's Societies, churches, charities etc. One year we even bought and cooked all the food ourselves with a little team of our friends for a full sit-down formal supper for 200 and gave dance classes in the lead up to the event too! It was all great fun, but this is the third time we've been invited to this lovely little informal one here in Bcn (around 25 people, many Scots and quite a few from Kirkcaldy, my home town actually!) and it's lovely to think the only preparation I have is to try on my new pumps.......oh, and to prepare the Reply!
