Laguiole en Aubrac
One of my very favourite things- a traditional pocket knife from rural France- The Aubrac. Lots of tradition goes into these hand made knives, including a little Crucifix made of tiny rivets incorporated into the handle of juniper wood. Traditionally used by shepherds living away from their villages in the high Aubrac plateau in central France, they used to stick the blade into their bread and they could then worship in front of the Cross.
