Wild in the country

Dawn chasing away the moon.

I can see that Tuesday is going to be my early morning image day. I'm up after my wife and long before dawn, and out dog walking before my own long day at work - 12 hours. So I try to catch the essence of my morning. Today the moon, or half of him, was making a valiant stand against Dawn, who makes him pale into insignificance once she has a hold on the sky. The sun didn't come out fully until I was in the saddle and cycling over the bridge, when the full circle of yellow burst in my face, but even behind the clouds she cast enough light for the moon to surrender.
