Thistle Down

By Ethel

White-Out

White-out my life,
Let the blemishes go.
May the sins I have committed,
Not ever show.

May there be a brightness,
That I've never known.
May purity entomb me,
By the good I have sown.

Make me sin-proof,
That honor will latch.
That the dark ways of life,
Will not to me attach.

Let me be as wool,
White through and through.
Let goodness be foremost,
And righteousness pursue.

May there be true worthiness,
And humbleness be the sign.
As I come to the Father,
Let forgiveness be mine.
