Piccadilly Circus in the rain

I went into London this afternoon to meet some very old schoolfriends for an evening in a pub. As I was early, I made an impromptu stop off at one of my husband's and sons' favourite clothes shops. As I rang home for directions to the store, I watched tourists taking photos of themselves against the changing display.

Shopping completed, I headed off to the pub near Waterloo. We had a lovely time catching up. For a group of science geeks who went to a very bad school, we haven't done too badly for ourselves.
