E Pluribus Unum

This is a United States of America One Cent coin also known as a penny.

I was playing with light flashes and macro lenses, I had no idea what the penny had inscribed in it, or what it means. After some google searches I am still not really sure what it means, or why it is written in the Penny. but it sounds cool, and I think the penny looks good up close!
