State of the Union
This evening was President Obama's State of the Union speech. It is hard to believe that two years ago he was just entering the presidency.
Politicians came into the chamber two-by-two, Republicans with Democrats, this evening to listen and applaud. The President commented on their sitting together by noting that it will be much more important to work together tomorrow than sit together tonight.
I think the majority of America would agree. While the politicians are claiming the recession is about over, we're watching more and more stores and restaurants in our community shut their doors permanently. Every neighborhood in this area has one if not more empty houses because of foreclosure. We agree with the President whole heartily, it's time for politicians to stop warring with one another and start working together.
We're hoping tomorrow brings change.
I've included a photo of the First Lady because I think she has class! The responsibility of her role is immense. I hope she feels appreciated.
Good night from Southern California.

P.S. I hope you will take a look at what happened on the Pacific Northwest this evening. It's was too beautiful to miss. Four blippers meet there often and what they capture and share is immensely beautiful. xxx
