Messengers

This is the second time I have seen this owl in broad daylight, perched on a power line. Unfortunately, on both occasions, I have been on my way to work with minimal time for picture taking. Today I stopped anyway.

This was a hurried shot in bad light and so it is overexposed and cropped. In the future, I intend to return to this area to sit still in nature for a while and hopefully catch this strange owl again.

Dad is holding his own. He is an onry old fellow that may surprise us all just as my Old Dog has. Thanks for all the well wishes.
