Crimson Reflection

Today was colored by news of the airport tragedy in Russia. It's hard to listen to graphic accounts of violence and go on with your day like everything is great. This day also seemed like a hopeful one with the evening state of the union address. Some days it takes hearing the bad news to realize the hope we still have for things to get better.

We have had a lot of beautiful sunsets lately which has more than made up for the rainy days over the last couple weeks. When I walked out from the office I thought this sunset was over, but I made it to an overlook of the bay just in time to capture the last burst of color.
