Pied Wagtail

This pied wagtail (Motacilla alba) was hunting flies near the high-tide line of the local beach.

I have tried photographing pied wagtails before, but they move so fast and jerkily, they are usually blurred. Also, they are rather shy and always move away from you so all you get is a tail view. Guess I was lucky today.
