Fixing the Shadows

Rant free Wednesday, no repeat of rant filled Tuesday.

In fact, it was as pleasant a Wednesday as a Wednesday could be without the dulling effects of alcohol or winning a pile on the Wednesday Draw. Watched some of the BBC's excellent "Genius of Photography" series along with some of the students here. Room was a bit warm and the soothing tones of Obi Wan Kenobi's Uncle Denis managed to send a few of them off for forty winks in the darkness.

Also had a nice chat with the captain of this vessel who's a regular viewer of all things blip, an occasional commentator and a prospective full blown contributor (if only he had a camera). He was telling me he'd like to buy one soon as he's planning a wee expedition this summer. He's going to paint his dinghy too and sail her up the West coast, through villages and towns. He'll be on his holidays, we'll be doing our rounds.* Sounds perfect.
