Young male elephant seal

Visited Deception island this morning with sulphurous gases eminating from the volcanic shores. Surprisingly it didn't seem to worry this seal or the many Chinstrap penguins waddling in and out the water. Walked to a ridge up the mountain slope to admire the natural caldera. It's simply beautiful and the trip is rapidly nearing it's end. Back at sea tomorrow and it'll be hard to leave this magical continent.
