Edinburgh - studies in stone
After touching on the Martyrs Memorial in Calton Old Cemetery yesterday in a blip taken from St Andrews House this is a close up view from my other office window in the Parliament and takes in what is known as the Calton New Cemetery and Regent Terrace - a good quixotic mix of the great and the good of Auld Reekie, above and below ground. It seems to me a classic Edinburgh picture - elegance in stone for death and life with touches of green in between.
