Aftermath

The cleanup of the building across the street is moving quickly. On December 11th it was engulfed in flames and was a total loss. Now that the insurance and fire investigations are comlete, it's time for it to go.

I took some shots from different angles today but none of them really gave the sense of scale you get when you see it in person. I shot this one out of the sun roof on the way into the office this morning. This is the back of the building...well, what's left of it. It certainly gives a good view of the gray gloomy sky we've had for two days now. The nice thing though is the temperature at lunch time was a balmy 32 F. For those of you in the Celsius mindset, that's freezing. :)
