Lucky day

This was a lucky bird day, and I ended up with four little birds I thought should be today's blip. What finally decided me on this black-capped chickadee was the way s/he is balancing on top of the broken off tree and gripping it with those amazing feet, which I think is an amazing feat (pun intended). These are the friendliest little birds. Again yesterday and today several of them landed on my outstretched hand to take a peanut, leaving me in awe.
