heaven

nothing better than waking up to a foot of fresh powder, blue skies, and hardly the slightest breeze. By lunch every lift was running and we had some of the best runs over through the newly opened, untracked powder on one of our favorite runs. it was warm and sunny and hardly any wind all day (a rarity at mammoth). even the usually wind-blow top of the mountain had ample soft snow. it was a delight. no, it was perfect. tickets ain't cheap, but today was well worth the 80 bucks.

Back in LA now and missing the mountains already.
