More Snow

I felt obligated to get out of the little lake house tonight since I was such a slug last night.

I didn't even post yesterday, until tonight.


There has been a light snow for the last couple of days. The fresh snow is not crunchy tonight, just a wave of powder, a blanket of puffy white.

The fresh snow absorbs any sound, maintains the deep quiet.

Of course there is no Aurora and there are no stars seen through the falling snow and overlying clouds. But that's OK, the snow is a very pleasant and gentle friend.
