Everthing is Growing

I saw this today and while eating some gelato in 70 plus degree weather I realized what is going on. This tree hasn't lost all it leaves for winter yet, but if you notice, it's auxiliary buds are starting to grow (the tips of the branches and the joints). I am seeing more birds than normal for this time of year (it IS still January, right?). Some of the birds are in mating mode and their feathers are starting to turn. It's crazy!

I saw this and had to share. It's a bit abstract, but when you're eating chocolate gelato at the end of January, thinking about wearing short tomorrow, a dude just can't think straight.
