When in Rome?

We're not really in Rome, but we have had to 'do as the Romans do', by baking an 'Ancient Roman Cheesecake' as part of my daughter's homework for this term's topic.

Flour, eggs, honey, ricotta cheese, lemon juice and orange zest - all topped with bay leaves, although some appear to have sunk. Smells lovely and was well-sniffed by both staff and students when we brought it into school this morning! If there are any 'Ancient Roman Scholars' out there (or even any young ones, ha, ha!), I would be interested to know if this is actually how it's supposed to look as we can't seem to find any pictures to go with the recipe!
