The Lido

Met up with an old work colleague today to talk about the possibility of some freelance work (we met in Worthing...thats the third time this week I've been there). Always a good offering of photo opportunities though.

The Lido in the photo is no longer a lido...but a mini seaside complex selling ice-creams, and offering entertainment on the bandstand in warmer weather. I'm sure in it's day, it would have been a fabulous outdoor swimming pool.

Thank you to everyone who commented on yesterdays blip and told me what a good parent I am...I'm sure those of you that are parents yourselves, are just as good, even if you don't sit around making pretty beaded jewellery for your children's friends!! In fact, I see so many examples of loving parents through your photos, that I know you don't need to do anything in particular to show how much you care. x
