Must be a Bowie fan

This afternoon I shared an Olympique Express ride down to Val (what, you think I should actually ski the Face at the end of the day?!) with a pisteur's dog. I think these dogs are specially trained to search for avalanche victims. "Don't touch ze dog", said the pisteur as he ushered the dog into the gondola. He didn't say this in a malicious way, it was probably more for my protection, and he really did say 'ze'. The dog smelled really bad, so there was no danger of me going anywhere near it. Anyway, the dog perched up on the bench for the ride down and looked out of the window, which was cute. I started humming along to a tune in my headphones, "Moonage Daydream", and the dog started to sing along with full throated whoops and howls. I am presuming the dog was not expressing his distaste for my humming, but it's a possibility.

This is the Pointe de la Sana, from the top of the Grand Pre.
