Fulmar

Originally I put a photo of my bike here, then changed it for this. The script didn't edit as it should have, so people were reading ...'here is a picture of my bike'!

I cycled out to Tankerness and walked along to Yinstay Head. I didn't go further because it was only the second trip on the bike and I'd set off rather late.

It was a lovely day, cool but sunny. From the earthen cliffs near the Taing of Redbanks, fulmars glided down to the calm water. Turning just above the surface, their wing-tips sometimes touched the water, leaving a momentary mark as if they were autographing the sea.
