Shrine to iPad...

My blip for yesterday showed the beginings of our latest snowstorm. It delivered a punch with some 10" of heavy snow. Very beautiful to watch with some amazing scenery. But, as expected, snow-ladden power lines snapped all over the place and we've been without power since 7pm last nite.

So out came the candles, the last of our Canadian Merlot (with a slight hint of lavender -- unusual) and the iPads, which we'd fully charged in anticipation of the power loss. Et voila, the blip for today (though taken at the wee hours of the day).

It's now 2pm; we still do not have power and the house is getting a tad cool (55 degrees). A trip to the local Starbucks (with its free WiFi connection...) seemed warranted, to warm my buns and post my daily blip! I'll stick around long enough to thaw out and grab a bite to eat (yeah, hot coffee too! am becoming human again!)
