Ice Cold

The ice I saw along the side of the road this morning was a beautiful image, but it also represents the crazy cold weather we have had so far this year.

Even though it has been miserably cold outside, I thought I would list some things that warm my heart:

Tickle fights with my kids (especially since I can still win)
Hearing my children sing and watching them dance
A big hug from a friend when I need it the most
Cuddling on the sofa with my wonderful hubby
Great conversations with friends
Looking at old photographs and remembering the events they represent
A beautiful sunrise
A quiet moment when you can feel God's presence, warmth, and love
