Swan Portrait

Mostly good day today. There was briefly blue sky, I have photographic evidence, a smattering of snow flakes and a biting wind. Undetered we put on our (many) layers and headed to the 'big' park with scooter and buggy. Bird life there is always good for photography, they are so many of them that is difficult not to capture something.

Allowed William to run free in the park area. We had it to ourselves, unsurprisingly. He loved it, getting muddy with little tumbles and laughing, until he fell flat on his face stepping of the roundabout just out of arms reach. Then he was crying and really muddy, so now I have to wash both his and my coats. The only lasting sign of the splat is a small scratch on his nose and wind burn on his cheeks.
