One gun salute

My father in law was a very technically creative man. The challenge of creating something that needed research and planning, and the use of many power tools, gave him great joy and kept his brain cells jumping.

He built this little canon. The barrel is around 10" long and is/was fully functioning (if you happen to own gunpowder and have a very very remote place to fire it in perhaps) I saw it fired just the once many years ago.
