Playing on the beach!

On the beach today Ollie and I met my friend with her two dogs, a whippet and a lovely old mongrel. They had an excellent time, chasing each other and playing in the waves, while we had a good walk and chat. Although we live on the same small island, we can go for a long time without seeing each other and it's really nice to catch up.

It was a bright sunny morning, with clear blue sky, so different from the howling gales and torrential rain and sleet during the night. I'd been hoping for a good day for my day off as I wanted to gett the hen house mucked out. Tomorrow I'm getting four more young hens - so excited I can hardly wait!!!
