The Southern Uplands
I was workimg down in the Southern Uplands today, carrying out some freshwater invertebrate surveys with my friend and colleague Geordie Chris. I love working in places like this, there is something about the bleak emptiness I like. The only life we saw, apart from stonefly and mayfly nymphs, was a Red Kite, which is always nice!
