What Price Freedom?
A careful man had, safely locked in his garage, a little portion of Freedom. Though it was a valuable thing, to him it was worthless, more than that it was an inconvenience, he needed to be rid of. The benevolent man thought someone else might like Freedom so took the time to visit charity shops asking if they would like it. One had no space for Freedom, and one had no call for it.
A young lady was buying a crystal vase which she blipped yesterday, when she heard the kind man's offer of Freedom being rejected. She heard the disillusioned man saying OK, he would take it to the tip.
Freedom, being slung over the wall into the huge skip labelled "Throw into here all which you no longer need."
The quick-thinking lady called out "Has that Freedom you want rid of got wheels and a seat with, maybe, a basket? It has! Great! I'll give a donation for it. "No need he said, I would have put it in the tip!"
The trusting lady didn't know whether she would see the man and his Freedom again, but left a donation anyhow! When she saw him come through the door today pushing the Freedom, her faith in human nature was reinforced! All that was left was for the lady to take the little gift of Freedom home to The Mother.
And the value of that gift? Priceless!
As yesterday, made a bit more funky with PS>Filter>Stylize>Glowing Edges, well I would wouln't I?
