Lick the Spoon Chocolate Workshop
i was very lucky to get to do a workshop, where i work this eve..
Diana is absolutely passionate about chocolate, and was amazingly knowledgeable about all the aspects of it, from where and how the crops of coca grow, to how its dried and the tastes and flavours of different chocolates..
It was the most interesting and fun 4 hours ive spent learning ive had, ion a very long time..
we saw how truffles were made, and learnt all about the best way to melt the chocolate and how and what to do if you think its gone wrong, how to recognise when the chocs emulsified and when to add the alcohol and and and and...
i Loved it.. and so did the other ladies who were on the course too..
i was going to post a pic of the truffles and lolly that i made.. but sadly most of the pics i took were decidedly average (im struggling with the flash on this camera, and really REALLY want another panasonic lumix, before i cry!!)
but i decided on this as i liked the movement (blurryness) in it.. this is one of the other ladies attempting to make chocolate curls... not as easy as Di made it look.. that was for sure!
wow im tired. off to me bed now and ive eaten FAR too much of the chocolate too.....soon be tomorrow!! (11.45pm now!!)
Night all. x
