Benign Impracticality

I really didn't expect the snow to fall until I'd been back home for at least an hour or two, but evidently, 30 minutes in a grocery store in January makes a proper mockery of my footwear decisions.

I promise I'm not complaining--I will take this wet, sparkly snow over the lifeless gray of the past 2½ weeks in a quick heartbeat.
