It's a year since i first posted. It's been a long, strange year thats taken me from one side of the globe to the other
and i stood today feeling a little cold and alone watching as the sun behind me faded a beautiful red, lighting up this city of glass that bears a strange resemblance to that other city i called home for two years.

And i felt a profound sadness for everything that has passed in those few days.




And i stood and gazed quietly and felt for everyone i know in the cooling evening
and i thought about me and you
and the miles in between




so now there is a city and me and an ocean and something great beyond it
