Natural Wonders

Great day for bike riding and coffee drinking:-) Very fresh (freezing!) but bright and sunny.

I was photographing factories, graffiti, vacant buildings ,empty bottles on the ice, anything trying to capture the grittiness of this section of the canal. Then I noticed this miniature garden on top of a concrete pilar in the middle of the canal. It's thriving, oblivious to it's surroundings, and I thought, beautiful.

Not a great photograph but I like what it represents.
