Close to the sky

If you don't respect the mountain, the mountain takes your respect.

When we started our climb going to Loch Skene, the trail didn't look too bad, but it was a lot harder than I thought. I do have a huge respect for the mountain. The climb required a total concentration where to put you foot, because the trail was very narrow and steep, there were loose stones, too. No railing.

On the way I kept thinking of the views: "Oh, it can't get better than this!". Well, it did. Many times. Absolutely breathtaking. When we finally came to Loch Skene, I almost cried. Such a magical scene, such space! So close to the sky!
