I rarely try and take portrait photos but its been getting my interest a bit lately. Furthermore, whilst there has been a certain lack of blip-age lately it hasn't stopped me picking up my camera; The photos just never seem to make my over zealous cut!

Tonight i tried using something which, to be honest, i'd almost completely forgotten about lately...my on camera flash! In all the getting tied up with photographic techniques and camera usage theory i think i forgot some of the basics.
