We finally did it!

After quite a few confirmed wedding bookings and a few more enquiries outstanding, we finally decided to upgrade to the Sony Alpha 550! We had been thinking about it for a while and finally decided it would be worth it.

Now the remote control we bought on ebay actually works too..so I had it try it out ;)
