Bumblings of a bee

Lionhead

I was getting to know the bunny. Bought for my cousin's wife by her daughter and family in August, it was the first time I had seen him. I guess he was just about 9 months old - definitely not yet a year old - in this picture.

My cousin's wife was in hospital, having suffered a burst aneurysm in her brain on 16 December. Surgery to put things right resulted in inevitable damage to the speech and communication centre of the brain, similar to that caused by a stroke.

It has been a long road and as I write this in January 2011, four years down the line, good progress has been made. A tribute to her stubborn determination to get back to how things were. I have no doubt she will continue to make progress.
