Spring Valley Ranch

Our family's property is appropriately called "Spring Valley Ranch." A series of underground springs provide the entire valley, including the meadow that stretches out in front of my house (pictured here), with a wealth of moisture. Now that most of the nearby snow has melted, the meadow is really filling up. The front edge of the water is about 20 feet from my front yard. By the time spring arrives, I will be living on lakefront property, watching hundreds of water fowl enjoying the "lake" that will be gone by late June.
