Time Warp!
Tonight, hubs and I went to a DRIVE-IN! Crazy, right?! Speakers you attach to your windows, concession stand commercials, movie countdowns, the whole nine yards!
Well, it was a boutique drive-in here in Austin. It could only hold around 12 cars, I'm guessing. And it was hidden in East Austin. But we got this deal to go check it out, so we headed over with some grub we picked up from Central Market. Had an interesting but fun evening. They apparently have double features every night, and tonight's theme was....BRAINS!
We saw The Brain that Wouldn't Die (1962) and The Man with Two Brains (1983). Both were extremely weird, but both were pretty funny. We enjoyed it.
The pic is of the guy that worked the concessions. He must have started, like, today. He could not answer a single question I asked him except where the bathroom was. He got me frustrated at times. And this was what he spent most of the time doing...chilling. Maybe he should have been learning a few things. No prob! Didn't spoil the evening, just made it more challenging :)
