Blanket of Lights
Not much time for taking any pictures today. Here's one of Glasgow's Royal Exchange Square - it's a lovely blanket of lights above you at night.
I had one of those days when it's 3.00pm before you realise you've not had any lunch - and I still didn't want to leave my desk to heat up the soup I'd brought in. That would have taken 20 minutes - which I didn't have!
Lovely Ms McDaid gave me half of her sandwich. We tapped onwards through our chews trying to finish all the things that needed done before Friday home time.
Then a quick dash for the Glasgow train - met some old faces for a very quick glass of pink before meeting Robin. We couldn't get in to the place we fancied eating and went to a curry place we used to like going to when we lived in Glasgow - now not great.
A march up to the Kings Theatre to see 'We Will Rock You' and met Jamie and Helen. Irene bought us all tickets for Xmas. It was hot, cramped, I had someone's two feet kicking my back. And another woman waving her arms in my face and pulling my arm to make me do it too - which made Robin laugh so hard, my face must have been a picture, so I started laughing too. The poor woman - sitting next to me, fizz face, she was so jolly and having a great time.
Jamie had cramp in his legs and had to get up. By half time - I needed to escape. We all did! I've not been sleeping great, so the noise and heat was not a good combo. I felt like a grizzly child who needed her bed. That's what we did - went home. Sleep, good sleep, needed.
