Sun, Surf and Family!

We have had a great day today! The weather was beautiful, sunny and hardly any wind! Kaz and I went to Waratah Bay this morning with Katie, Damon, Hugo and Max from next door. We had a wonderful time! The beach there is so nice, beautiful sand, clear water, no sea weed and only about 5 other people on the beach! It is a Saturday morning in the middle of Summer and school holidays!! We are so lucky to be able to enjoy it!!

We had three surfboards and two boogie boards between us and all had a go on the surfboards at one stage! The waves were great, constant and big enough to push us along when we caught one!I was helping Hugo and Max and they both were able to catch a wave and stand up a few times! They were so excited and I loved being a part of it!

We spent a couple of hours at the beach and we all went and had fish 'n' chips for lunch! We got back home and Spence was still asleep. My sister, Shell, who is 38 weeks pregnant came over and then Craig and his family came over after being fishing with Dad. Spence got to show Uncle Craig how he could ride the motorbike that Craig gave him for Christmas and the kids all had a great time playing together!

We are home and exhausted!! I have to work tomorrow and it is meant to be 40C (104F) so Kaz will try and find something to do with Spence in the heat!
