The thing.....
...I've learnt about organising summer camp in Switzerland this year is to be prepared for the the layers upon layers of bureaucracy with which you'll be confronted. Just when you've got it all sorted, you discover another form to be completed, or someone pulls a layer out and makes a mess. I've learnt a lot of valuable lessons for our next foreign camp.
Largely good day at work with a long running piece of work coming to a successful conclusion and then Scouts later to break the good news that we're off to Kandersteg in July.
After, I joined Chris, Jim and Don for a few beers and a ruby. Chris has a mighty fine soul music collection (I might have mentioned that before) and we chewed the fat and listened to some classic tracks. Funniest moment for me was Jim (currently bearded-up), waving his fist in the air and shouting "Hezbollah"....turns out he wasn't shouting "Hezbollah" at all, and I probably need to get my ears tested.
It's the weekend.....most satisfactory.
