Today was Helen's birthday. The rest of the flat surprised not only her, but me and Chloe too, when they got us 3 cakes, because it had been both our birthday's earlier in the month, but the whole flat wasn't back at this point.

The evening provided a brilliant pre-drinks party (I swear the actual pre-drinks are a lot more fun than the night out, for me anyway), an impromptu drink down the Stannary and a very late-night walk into some field for Harry's blip.

In the day we had a visiting lecturer in the form of DesignBridge. They are a 300-man design agency, with a 150-man office in London. I had never thought I'd want to work for a big agency, always seeing myself in a little 10-man studio. However the talk from them actually sold the idea really well, with projects still only being handled by a maximum of 5 designers within the team - so they still get a very hands-on experience, despite the large numbers. Something to think about.
