Spring

Fit like blippers?

I am Mr. C and the lovely inhabitants of Blipcentral have managed to cajole (it seems there is no such thing as free tech advice these day) me into rounding up this weeks assignment which was 'looking forward'. I am truly honoured.

So, who's looking forward and to what??

Well, it seems theres been a bad case of S.A.D ravaging the blip community this week as not many of you are happy with winter no more (although there is the odd exception). You are done with the perpetual darkness, the cold, the rain and the slush and are ready to give winter the boot . For the thing most of you blippers are looking forward to is......Spring. It's so close you can almost smell it. You want happy birds and flowers in bloom and im sure a few bouncing baby lambs wouldn't go amiss either but mainly you can't wait for the clocks to spring forward and there will finally be enough light to get outside and blip away until you burst?

For the fortunate few who escaped the S.A.D there seems to be a lot of other exciting things on the horizon in 2008 - new jobs and leaving jobs, holidays abroad and holidays at home, a new knee or taking a book out of the library (I bet it smells all lovely and musty and damp and warm in there.)

Some of you dont quite know yet what it is that you are looking forward to, some are happy to look forward to each day and take life as it comes (a very healthy philosophy), some of you are looking at other people looking forward and this man just wants to get home something, which, at the end of the day, i'm sure we all look forward to.

Whatever it is you are all looking forward to I hope you enjoy it when it finally arrives. Have a great 2008 hope it brings you all much happiness...

Finally this late entry makes the cut this week only because I too shall be attending this concert and I too shall be attending it with my dad. It was the great man himself who sang - "Old man take a look at my life, I'm a lot like you" which in the case of this concert seems to be very apt and leads me seamlessly on to next weeks assignment - 'Fathers and Sons'. Please, as per usual, take this in any way you see fit, but don't forget to tag your entries 'assignment29'.

Keep on rockin' in the free world...

Mr. C
