Forbidden fruit

This little piece of fruit was clinging onto a bush outside one of our car dealerships in Aberdeen.
Not being Alan Titchmarsh i havnt got a clue what it is but im guessing crabapple.
The colour caught my eye in what was a thoroughly miserable day weather wise.
