Pleasure Cruise

Had an absolutely fantastic morning today, in part thanks to the power of blip.

Through these journal entries I was contacted by the owner of the boat "The Three Sisters". Riverman, as he is know (as a guest) on here offered us an open invitation on here to take a cruise down the River Forth under his captaincy. And today we did just that.

Both Euan and I had an absolute ball taking pictures, watching the wildlife, drinking hot tea from a flask and listening to the wisest of words from the least saltiest of sea dogs. There ain't enough space on this journal to share everything we covered on our morning's cruise and having to sort through the 528 images we snapped has left me no time to waffle on here before our visitors arrive.

Except, that is, to say a huge thanks for our treat today Riverman (and for the soup from your good lady the other day too). We're both looking forward to future trips doon the water in your most excellent company.

Now, get those tins of paint out and get your boat spruced up for that big trip!

I could go on about our adventures (will probably be back to add to this in fact) but other events from today are taking precedence now.
